A delightful hotel with charming staff who are secretly famous filmmakers. The area has lovely coffee shops and restaurants. I experienced the magical beauty of the Cape Peninsula and had a fabulous journey through the winelands.

I adored everything, but I guess if I had to find something negative, the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it.

Fantastic base to explore. We were pleasantly surprised by how helpful the staff at Head South Lodge were. The modern and clean hotel gave us a sense of safety as lone female travelers. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we return to this city. a great experience worth recommending.

I had an amazing time staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel! The location was perfect, within a 30-minute walk from the V&A Waterfront, and surrounded by fantastic restaurants. The service was top-notch, with staff always going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were extremely knowledgeable and helped book my day trips, taxis, and airport transfers. The hotel itself was sparkling clean and had a modern contemporary feel. The amenities were fantastic, from the outdoor swimming pool to the bar/lounge area where I could enjoy a refreshing drink. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay here.

The noise from the neighboring buildings was a bit loud and disruptive at times, and the hot water took some time to come on for showers.

Our recent beachside stay offered a relaxing atmosphere, with quick access to both the harbor and the city airport. The well-decorated and spacious room provided us with a great night's sleep. The staff were both accommodating and welcoming - a true representation of great service.

The open communal areas were limited in space, with a few minor discomforts during a private event.

loved my stay in cape town. head south lodge was even better than last time. felt safe and welcome as a solo female traveler. the hotel was clean with a modern feel.

The breakfast was okay, there was fresh fruit and pastries. The location was great, close to the beach and the waterfront, easy to walk around. The staff was friendly and provided us with towels when we needed them.

The noise level was unbearable, we could hear everything from neighboring rooms and from the street. The rooms were small and outdated, not worth the price we paid. The Wi-Fi was spotty and slow, not ideal for anyone needing to work remotely. we were disappointed with our experience and would not recommend staying here.

We had endless opportunities to explore Cape Town's natural beauty, from hiking up Lion's Head to surfing at Muizenberg Beach. We even had a super cool tour guide from the Townships who showed us the real local experience. And let's not forget about the vibrant nightlife! We partied like there was no tomorrow at the hottest clubs in town. Best trip ever!

If there's one thing we would've asked for, it's a better selection of late-night food options near the lodge. After a crazy night out, we were craving some delicious munchies, but couldn't find many places open.

We had a fantastic stay at a lodge in Cape Town. The staff at Head South Lodge were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit. We were impressed by the security guard who went out of his way to pick up a sandwich for us when we were tired. The breakfast each morning was a pleasant surprise, with delicious and fresh options. One highlight was the mobile phone program they offered, providing us with a phone and data for our entire stay, making our trip even better. The owner and team were friendly and always available to give us advice on planning our itinerary and recommendations on where to go. The homely atmosphere, honesty bar, and coffee/tea amenities made us feel right at home.
